NCIS star teases huge surprise ending for the season 19 finale
NCIS spoilers follow.
We’re only a few episodes away from the season 19 finale of NCIS, and fans are eager to know what’s next for Supervisory Special Agent Parker and his team.
Ahead of the May 23 finale in the US, one of the stars of CBS’s beloved procedural has teased what lies ahead for her character.
“Apparently I have a stunt double [for the season finale],” Katrina Law said in an interview with TVLine.
Law, who plays Special Agent Jessica Knight, said that having a stunt double “always bodes well for good, fun action”.
However, she was unable to divulge any more details about this season’s “big, huge, surprise ending”.
“But that’s above my pay grade – they don’t tell me anything!” she added.
Law and Cole’s characters were the newest additions to the team on the latest season, which premiered in September 2021.
The 19th season follows the departure of Maria Bello and Emily Wickersham, who bid farewell to the roles of Special Agents Jacqueline “Jack” Sloane and Eleanor Bishop respectively.
Veteran Mark Harmon, who has played the role of NCIS supervisor Leroy Jethro Gibbs since 2003, only appears in a limited capacity in the new season. Gibbs seemingly left the show in the season’s fourth episode ‘Great Wide Open’ (aired in October last year) after having found peace in Alaska following the d***h of his family.
In March, CBS Entertainment president Kelly Kahl announced NCIS will officially return for a 20th season, together with the show’s spin-offs, NCIS: Los Angeles and NCIS: Hawai’i.
