Pauley Perrette age: How old is NCIS’ Abby Sciuto star Pauley Perrette?
PAULEY PERRETTE will forever be best known as forensic expert Abby Sciuto but how old is the former NCIS star?
Pauley Perrette left NCIS in 2018 after 15 years of portraying the gothic and lovable Abby Sciuto. She went on to star in the 2020 sitcom Broke alongside Jane the Virgin stars Jaime Camil and Natasha Leggero but CBS cancelled the show after just one series. Following the news a few months later, Perrette announced that she would be retiring from acting.
How old is NCIS star Pauley Perrette?
Pauley Perrette was born on March 27, 1969 in New Orleans to parents Donna Bell and Paul Perrette who had died last year of COVID-19.
She took to Twitter to explain the circumstances surrounding his d****h.
Perrette said: “His political party told him [dad] it was fake and like hundreds of thousands others they killed him with that.
“There were no Vaccines then, just exhausted health care workers, dead bodies all over.
“And me saying goodbye on a nurse’s cell phone
The former NCIS star is now 53 years old, having joined the cast of NCIS when she was 34.
Perrette was among one of the oldest of the original cast, after actor Mark Harmon, now aged 71, and Michael Weatherly who is 54 years old.
Actors Sean Murray and Brian Dietzen are both 44 and Cote de Pablo was the youngest at 42.
Perrette has been making headlines this week after she made a shoc***g confession regarding her health.
The former actress told her 714,000 followers on Twitter that she had a stroke last year following the loss of several loved ones.
It seems that Perrette has made a full recovery and posted the tweet as a hopeful message.
She wrote: “It’s 9/2. One year ago I had a massive stroke.
“Before that I lost so many beloved family and friends, and daddy and then Cousin Wayne.
“Yet still a survivor after this traumatic life I’ve been given so far…
“And still so grateful, still so full of faith, and STILL HERE!”
There has also been talk of NCIS creators giving fans an update on Abby’s whereabouts.
Since she left four years ago to pursue Clayton Reeves’ (played by Duane Henry) dream of starting up a charity for homeless women and escorted his body home to London, there has been little mention of her.
This is in comparison to Agent Leroy Gibbs (Mark Harmon) who has been talked about on various occasions after his exit.
So showrunner Steven D Binder is hoping to do the same for Abby in the upcoming series.
He explained to TV Line: “We are always thinking about ways to involve [Gibbs] in a way that doesn’t ‘rip off the scab’ and doesn’t ruin what I thought was the only fitting send-off for this guy.”
“I want to start doing that with Abby’s character as well.
“I’d like to start feeling her [presence] a little more. I thought we were a little remiss in not [doing that sooner], but there are so many moving parts…
“But she is still out there fighting the good fight and watching us, and she is a part of us and we’re a part of her.”
NCIS season 20 premieres on Monday, September 19, on CBS in the USA. A UK release date hasn’t been announced.
