Sad news for Mark Harmon’s wife Pam Dawber, As Creator of Mork & Mindy Passes Away
Pam Dawber, Mark Harmon’s wife and former NCIS actress, has received some sad news this week, as the co-creator of Mork & Mindy has d1ed.
Dale McRaven, the creator of Perfect Strangers, d1ed at the age of 83 at his home in Porter Ranch, California.
Mork & Mindy was co-created by Dale, Joe Glauberg, and late director Garry Marshall, and starred the late Robin Williams.
On the hit sitcom, Pam played Mindy, and Robin played Mork, an alien from outer space who learned about the world from his roommate and eventual love interest Mindy.
Pam appeared in 94 of the show’s 95 episodes between 1978 and 1982. The show lasted four seasons before being cancelled.
In 1979, Dale received an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Comedy Series for Mork & Mindy. The show also aided Robin and Pam in establishing successful careers.

Along with her husband Mark, she has appeared in shows such as My Sister Sam and NCIS.
While Pam and Mark are both well-known actors, they prefer to keep their personal lives private.
Mark and Pam married in 1987 and are the proud parents of two sons, Sean and Ty. Pam has previously spoken out about their decision not to share much of their personal lives with the public.
“We’re not trying to keep something secret,” she told People, “but if you don’t want it completely exploited by the press, you have to.”
In the hit show, Pam and Robin Williams portrayed Mork and Mindy.
She continued, saying: “That’s real life when you’re married. And to go plaster your children…I’m sorry. That is not acceptable to me.” During an interview with TV Insider, Mark previously discussed their lifestyle and why so little is known about them.
In terms of their privacy, he stated: “It’s just who we are. We remain at home. A lot. I’m not a fan of Twitter or Facebook. Our sons aren’t interested either. Pam and I have both made a living in this business, and there is still a part of it that isn’t natural.”
