Vanessa Lachey Teases the Historical Three-Show Crossover Event for ‘NCIS’
Vanessa Lachey, star of NCIS: Hawaii, is all in when it comes to an upcoming three-show crossover event. Lachey was able to leave Hawaii for a short time and travel to the mainland and Los Angeles. Lachey was on the set of NCIS when Wednesday arrived. She happened to mention the work she was doing on the set of the show. NCIS, NCIS: Los Angeles, and Lachey’s show are all covered in the crossover.
Lachey told Entertainment Tonight, “Today is the first day that all three NCIS shows are meshing in the first episode.” “It’ll be NCIS and NCIS: Hawaii, followed by NCIS: LA… It’s fantastic because we were all in the same room and everyone was wondering, ‘Does my character know your character?’ When did you two first meet? ‘When did you two meet?’ As a result, we’re all figuring it out for ourselves.”
Vanessa Lachey Encourages ‘NCIS’ Fans to Develop Their Own Theories
Lachey, on the other hand, admits that she is very excited for NCIS fans. Lachey does spend her time living and working in Hawaii with her fellow cast members, and she encourages them to “start coming up with their own theories as to our backstories.” But she does mention a new energy that all of the different characters bring when they’re in the same room together.
“It’s always funny to me how we’re all so serious on procedural television, but we’re all just regular moms and dads and people,” Lachey said. “So I just like to kick it with them and talk about life and just hang out and eat snacks.” Don’t get me wrong: we work hard. I act as if we’re just sitting around all day, but it’s been really interesting to see the other side of everyone.”
Lachey’s show has performed well in the ratings so far this season. Fans are watching the show right after the original lead-in, which has been on for several seasons. NCIS: Hawaii’s characters continue to come to life on the show. As Jane Tennant, Lachey oversees everything. And the show just keeps getting better episode after episode.
Meanwhile, Lachey’s husband, Nick, remained in Hawaii. Lachey would actually be the outlet’s guest co-host on Wednesday’s show, alongside ET’s Kevin Frazier and Nischelle Turner, who were staying at the Sheraton Waikiki. The Love Is Blind co-host did express her thoughts on the season 3 couples’ current relationship statuses.
